Vincent Trong voices Aki Light aka Mega Man in the upcoming cg animated Mega Man series from Man of Action, Dentsu Entertainment USA, and DHX Studios.

The series premieres August 5 and will have a first season order count of 10 episodes.  Past reports indicated that 26-episodes in total were commissioned so the show is set for at least 2-3 seasons.

The clip below from the two-part premiere episode, titled "Throwing Shade Pt. 1" features Fire Man's debut and uses the Robot Master's theme from Mega Man 1, an easter egg that's scoring major points with old-school Mega Man fans.

Reaction to the new series on a whole seems to be much more upbeat than the initial response to a leaked demo reel back in 2017.

Mega Man: Fully Charged: Synopsis
Aki Light is a regular, upbeat, robot schoolboy. He lives in the futuristic world of Silicon City, co-inhabited by robots and humans. But this robot boy has a secret… Deep within his programming lie protocols that can transform him into the powerful hero, Mega Man! When the villainous Sgt. Night and his evil team of Robot Masters emerge with ill-intentions, Mega Man dedicates himself to protecting the citizens of Silicon City. Equipped with his Mega Buster arm cannon and the ability to absorb the powers of his opponents, he bravely battles the wickedest of villains. He is aided by other characters such as Rush the dog, Mega Mini and Suna Light.
