Obviously, it would be a detriment to
Anthem if they didn't follow Destiny and the things they're doing over at BioWare, but they may be looking to another successful game for some Anthem inspiration.
In a recent Reddit thread, a user asked Brenon Holmes whether or not they're following Bungie's decisions for
Destiny 2, specifically the events that are in the game. Brenon's response offers more expected when he stated, "Yep, we're definitely looking at what they're doing, though I think right now most of the gameplay team is pretty deep into Monster Hunter."
The fact that he mentions
Monster Hunter could mean they're also looking at the IP and incorporating some new ideas that are inspired from the game. It would be hard for them not to be inspired by
Monster Hunter, especially if they're "deep" into it. Of course we don't know exactly what they'd pull from the game, but there were a lot of hulking beasts in the gameplay footage we saw from E3.
They will continue keepings tabs on
Destiny's successes and of course pinning their failures. There are plenty of former
Destiny fans who are ready to pick up another game like it. It's refreshing to actually hear that they're analyzing not only
Destiny, but other popular games as well.

Monster Hunter into
Anthem? Let us know below in the comments!
