The upcoming online multiplayer action game Anthem has a feature that lets players listen to classic 8-bit music in-game, while in the lobby or in the middle of action. Through the use of a famous combination of actions, players will activate the Konami cheat code and music will play. Here is the code:

Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A. The Anthem Open Demo will be starting tomorrow, you can go in-game and try the code for yourself. The report does not state which screen players have to input this code in.

This famous code was created by Kazuhisa Hashimoto in 1986. The first game to feature this code was the NES' Gradius, an 8-bit title where Hahsimoto created this code in order to use developers make easier changes to the game.

Through the power of the javelins, skilled pilots called lancers were able to fight back against this perilous world. But a new enemy has emerged, seeking to harness the limitless power of the Anthem. And if they succeed, nothing will stand in their way.
