Like any major multiplayer online game that involves playing with friends or strangers and collecting loot, BioWare's upcoming
Anthem will involve some level of customization. To upgrade or change the psychical appearance of your Javelins, you will visit The Forge, a special area where you will be able to customize your exosuit the way you like, including helmet, arms, chest, legs, paint, and animations.
Yesterday, an
Anthem Twitch stream was hosted by Lead Producer Ben Irving, Character Director Francis Lacuna, and Associate Producer Leah Shinkewski, giving us a chance to see all the different ways you can customize your Javelin to make it truly your own making. According to BioWare, there will be six layers to modify and you can choose from a large collection of colors and material as well.
In
Anthem, players will delve into a vast world teeming with amazing technology and forgotten treasures. In this beautiful, unfinished, and seemingly abandoned by gods land, only the bold few have the courage to leave civilization behind, explore a landscape of primeval beauty, and confront mysterious dangers. Be sure to check out 45 minutes of
Anthem customization walkthrough below:
In a world left unfinished by the gods, a shadowy faction threatens all of humankind. The only thing that stands between these villains and the ancient technology they covet are the Freelancers. Join up to three other players and assemble high-tech, hand-crafted, uniquely powerful exosuits. Explore vast ruins, battle deadly enemies, and claim otherworldly artifacts. With every mission, you and your Javelin exosuits grow in power. Fight the dangers of an ever-changing world. Rise united to defeat evil. Triumph as one.
Anthem will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (via Origin) on February 22, 2019.
