Plenty of developers don't support custom mods in their games, but there are several that do provide support. Among the publishers most known for this practice is Bethesda, whose franchises, like Fallout and Skyrim, have large modding communities.
As a result, one of the questions that frequently surround the release of a big video game is whether it will support mods, and that is a question that fans have had about BioWare's Anthem.
Fortunately, executive producer Mark Darrah recently answered this query over his Twitter account - though his response will likely come as a disappointment to many.
"No." Darrah answered. Again, this answer won't seem like good news to many fans, but if they want some small glimmer of hope, Darrah went on to say, "at least not for now."
So, while modders shouldn't get their hopes up too high, it sounds like the Anthem developers haven't completely ruled out the possibility of mod support.
