It looks like yet another potential surprise of this year's Game Awards has leaked online, this time thanks to PlayStation Germany that just released a brand new teaser trailer for
Anthem ahead of its full release at TGA 2018. It wouldn't be suspiring, but he fact that it's the only part of PlayStation's YouTube empire that released it makes us think that someone might have uploaded it way too early.
The video that you can find below is just a small tease of the full cinematic trailer for
Anthem that will debut during the upcoming show that will feature 10 new games (two of them are going to be Obsidian Entertainment’s brand new RPG title that will be published by Private Division and ColdIron Studios' multiplayer
Alien game) and some updates on the titles that are already available in stores.
"
Very soon, you will get more information about Anthem at the at the Game Awards in L.A.! Are you ready to learn more?," the notes under the trailer say (translated from German). In
Anthem, you control Iron Man-like exosuits to embark on a journey to discover why gods have left the universe. This year's Game Awards will be held on December 6, and you can check out the teaser below:
In a world left unfinished by the gods, a shadowy faction threatens all of humankind. The only thing that stands between these villains and the ancient technology they covet are the Freelancers. Join up to three other players and assemble high-tech, hand-crafted, uniquely powerful exosuits. Explore vast ruins, battle deadly enemies, and claim otherworldly artifacts. With every mission, you and your Javelin exosuits grow in power. Fight the dangers of an ever-changing world. Rise united to defeat evil. Triumph as one.
Anthem will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (via Origin) on February 22, 2019.
