After the unexpected implosion of the Mass Effect series with Andromeda, BioWare is currently busy with the development on Anthem, the studio's answer to the success of Destiny and Tom Clancy's The Division. The upcoming online multiplayer action RPG will give you a chance to control Iron Man-like exosuits (called Javelins) and embark on a journey to discover why gods have abandoned the universe.

Electronic Arts has finally revealed what to expect from the upcoming open beta of BioWare's Anthem. You, and everyone else, will officially be able to test the BioWare ambitious title before its launch on February 22, 2019 from February 1–3, on PS4, Xbox One, and Origin for PC. EA has also confirmed that Early Access will begin on February 15 for Origin Access (PC) and EA Access (Xbox One) members.

To participate it Anthem's VIP demo (January 25–27, 2019), you must not only pre-order Anthem, be also be an EA Access subscriber, or an Origin Access subscriber at the time of the demo, as the progress won't carry over to the game's full release. In the demo, you will control a level 10 hero from the get-go, with a shot at upgrading them to level 15 by finishing a variety of missions and exploring Fort Tarsis.

In a world left unfinished by the gods, a shadowy faction threatens all of humankind. The only thing that stands between these villains and the ancient technology they covet are the Freelancers. Join up to three other players and assemble high-tech, hand-crafted, uniquely powerful exosuits. Explore vast ruins, battle deadly enemies, and claim otherworldly artifacts. With every mission, you and your Javelin exosuits grow in power. Fight the dangers of an ever-changing world. Rise united to defeat evil. Triumph as one.

Anthem will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (via Origin) on February 22, 2019.
