CD Projekt is looking good right now as the company's revenue rose by 26 percent in the first half of 2019. This rise is due to the success of The Witcher 3, and with Cyberpunk 2077 on the horizon, things are bound to get better.
After the release of the game, CD Projekt released several expansions to have players spending again and returning to the world of The Witcher 3 for more enjoyment. It has worked quite well, which is no surprise because The Witcher video game franchise is popular among gamers.
Now, for those who were not aware, CD Projekt is the owner of the video game distribution platform, GOG, which is not doing too bad for itself. So far, the platform is not on the same level when compared to Steam or the Epic Games Store, and that is probably due to its DRM-free mantra.
Things have gotten much better with the launch of GOG Galaxy, which is a client similar to that of steam with many of the features on-board.
As of right now, the future of CD Projekt is looking quite bright. We cant wait to see what Cyberpunk 2077 brings to the table along with future games from the company.
