A couple of months ago, CD Projekt RED delivered the slightly disappointing news that the highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 was being pushed back, and that the long-awaited title would actually be releasing on Thursday the 19th of November instead of in September.
Even when fans were more than understanding, the developers wasted no time sharing some new information about the game that made fans even more excited for the release. CD Projekt RED streamed the first Night City Wire presentation, aiming to unveil new information, on a somewhat regular basis, leading up to Cyberpunk 2077's launch.
The first NIght City Wire presentation was streamed at the end of June, revealing new information about Cyberpunk 2077, showing off a brand-new gameplay trailer, and even announcing that an anime series in the form of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners was currently in the works.
On top of all of this, CD Projekt RED has confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 will not only be releasing for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, but also that those who have already purchased their current-gen version of the game will be able to upgrade to its next-gen counterpart completely free of charge.
During today's second Night City Wire presentation, the developers at CD Projekt RED took the opportunity to reveal a tonne of new information about Cyberpunk 2077; from yet another exciting new trailer for the game, to giving players a taste of the weapons that will be featured in the game.
What's perhaps the biggest news shared during today's presentation is information regarding character backstories in Cyberpunk 2077, as the game will give players the choice to select between Nomad, Street Kid, or Corpo Lifepaths; adding even more replay value to the upcoming title.
Not enough? CD Projekt RED also shared a behind the scenes video that reveals some interesting details about Cyberpunk 2077's in-game band SAMURAI, which is played by Swedish band Refused, so be sure to check out all three videos down below, as well as the new A Like Supreme tune by Refused(SAMURAI).
