Last week, a representative of CD Projekt Red hinted that Keanu Reeves isn't the only talent that
Cyberpunk 2077 is borrowing from Hollywood. Alvin Liu, a UI coordinator, was the CDPR representative that teased that we should expect more well-known stars to feature in the highly anticipated game. In an even more recent interview with
WCCFTECH, Liu discussed the same topic.
Following the aformentioned tease, rumours sprouted which claimed that Lady Gaga would be involved with
Cyberpunk 2077 in some way. Gaga is, of course, the well-known singer and now actress known for starring in
A Star Is Born.
The aformentioned rep blatantly shot down these rumours, stating that the popular musician currently has nothing to do with the project. However, the UI coordinator did mention that she would be a good fit for the world of
Cyberpunk 2077.
"She’s pretty cyberpunk, so she could fit in. But um, yeah, no Lady Gaga."
So, while that's one star shot down, there's still plenty of other celebrities who could make an appearance.
Cyberpunk 2077 is set to release on April 16th, 2020 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
