The world of
Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be massive, to say the least. Based only on what I've seen from the initial trailer and read about in previews, developer CD Projekt Red is creating a living, breathing world that is ripe for exploration in the upcoming role-playing game. There's no doubt the dystopian Nighty City, California, is going to be a rough place, but you can bet there's going to be plenty to do in the dangerous metropolis filled with cyber-enhanced street warriors, tech-savvy netrunners, and corporate life-hackers.
While we, unfortunately, didn't get a new trailer or see any gameplay from the highly anticipated game at gamescom this week, CD Projekt Red has treated us to a new batch of concept art. If these images look familiar, it's because they are the basis of what the game is built on. The art of the criminals in the back of the cab and the blue-haired lady in front of the computer are particularly noteworthy because
we saw their final representation in screenshots released at E3.
In addition to this concept art, CD Projekt Red also released new screenshots from
Cyberpunk 2077.
Check them out here.
Cyberpunk 2077 does not yet have a release date, with many speculating it may launch with next-gen consoles; however, CD Project Red has said they are aiming for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
