While it may be scheduled to release in just a few months, Cyberpunk 2077 has remained relatively quiet in the past couple of months. Fortunately, CD Projekt Red, the developers behind the game, have still been willing to reveal the occasional new detail on the title.
For instance, when the developer was recently asked by one fan on Twitter (via Reddit) whether Cyberpunk 2077 would release on the next generation of consoles, they revealed such a possibility wasn't out of the question.
"Possibly, however current generation is our main focus at the moment," the Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account explained, making it clear that a next-gen release isn't a priority at the moment.
Cyberpunk 2077 is currently set to launch on April 16, 2020 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia. Additionally, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett are both expected to be released before the end of the year.
