Although CD Projekt Red didn't release any gameplay footage or a new trailer for Cyberpunk 2077, the developer today has published a livestream that'll surely have fans intrigued. The livestream is simply titled "Data transmission in progress," which is pretty in line with what the developer posts on social media before a reveal.

As for the contents of the stream, well, right now it's just a bunch of random letters and numbers. If there's a secret meaning or message hidden in this cryptic code, I certainly don't see it. But you can bet the eagle-eyed viewers and Redditors will find it - if it even exists. You can watch the stream below.

It's unclear how long this teaser will run before something is finally revealed. Hopefully, in the end, we get at least some sort of gameplay for Cyberpunk 2077.

Last week, CD Projekt Red released a batch of screenshots from the highly anticipated game. Cyberpunk 2077 does not yet have a release date, although some speculate it may launch with next-gen consoles. CD Projekt Red has said they are aiming for Xbox One, PS4, and PC, but that doesn't necessarily rule out future consoles. Maybe we'll get some more answers with this stream.
