As we all know, Cyberpunk 2077 will allow players to create and customize their very own character. However, your own personal character won't be the only thing in the game you can change to your liking, as players will also be able to alter a wide range of items, including weapons.

Now, during a recent interview with Gaming Bolt, quest director Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz has revealed some new details on the various ways you can customize the numerous weapons within your arsenal.

"You can attach scopes, you can attach silencers, things like those," Tomaszkiewicz said, before going on to explain that available attachments will be different for each kind of weapon. "It’s based, of course, on a specific weapon and how many slots for improvements they have."

While these comments don't reveal a ton about the weapons in the game, Tomaszkiewicz did confirm that along with having nearly every class of gun, Cyberpunk 2077 will also feature plenty of melee weapons like katanas, hammers, and knives. He also noted that players can even use something called Nanowire, which also doubles as a useful tool for Net Runners, in combat.

Cyberpunk 2077 is currently scheduled to be released on April 16, 2020 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
