Despite many terrible rumors about the troubled production of Cyberpunk 2077 and exploiting their workers, CD Projekt Red seems to be finally ready to talk about their upcoming project that was teased back in 2013. According to the official Electronic Entertainment Expo website, CD Projekt Red, the developer of the beloved The Witcher game series will showcase a "Role-Playing" product soon.

Considering that we know that The Witcher 4 is not happening anytime soon and Cyberpunk 2077 is being made on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, it's clear that CDP Red will finally give us a chance to see what the game is all about. The latest report indicates that Cyberpunk is not an RPG, but an FPS instead, with a heavy emphasis on character development, similarly to the Deus Ex franchise.

According to CD Projekt CEO Adam Kiciński, Cyberpunk 2077 is a "great game, more ambitious than Witcher 3, and we believe that we can aim [at] more ambitious business goals as well—of course, still having gamer-centric focus and quality focus as a main priority," so the E3 presentation of the game better be really good. Until then, remember to take these leaks with a grain of salt. "Beep."
