We've known for a while now that Cyberpunk 2077 won't be like CD Projekt Red's previous ventures, as it opts for a first-person perspective instead of a third-person point of view.
And unsurprisingly, with character customization expected to be huge part of the upcoming RPG, many fans have wondered if players will at least get a third-person view of their character during the game's various cutscenes. Fortunately, Marcin Momot, global community manager at CD Projekt RED, recently took to Twitter to answer this burning question
"Achieving full immersion in an FPP game is extremely important and the decision made by the team to go 100% first person in [Cyberpunk 2077] is something that will benefit it greatly from gameplay and story-telling perspectives," Momot said, reiterating previous comments that the game must be played entirely in the first-person perspective.
However, in another tweet, Momot went on to say that players will "occasionally" see their character during a few of the cutscenes in Cyberpunk 2077, so be prepared to spend most of the game looking through your customized eyes.
