Despite releasing several trailers and a lengthy gameplay demo for Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red has managed to keep a number of plot details under wraps.
And while we likely won't learn anymore about the plot of Cyberpunk 2077 until we get closer to the game's release, quest designer Pawel Sasko recently spoke with Game Reactor and promised a very emotional story.
"Believe me guys, what we are doing here – we are going to make you cry, there’s no other way," Pawel Sasko said. "Believe me, we’ll do everything to just grab the player and keep them glued to the screen."
Of course, Sasko went on to explain that the upcoming game won't just elicit tears, as the developers hope players will experience a wide range of emotions while they play Cyberpunk 2077.
"I think there’s gonna be joy, there’s gonna be tears, and there’s gonna be laughter, and yeah there’s gonna be anger. We are going to give you all that, because this is what we are doing. Like that’s one of my main goals – I wanna move the players, like they are going to feel it so hard, and we are coming for you."
Although players will ultimately have to wait until the game launches to see if the CD Projekt Red title lives up to Sasko's comments, fans will likely have a lot of confidence in the publishers, as they have an impressive track that includes acclaimed games like The Witcher 3.
Cyberpunk 2077 is set to launch on April 16, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC
