Aside from a nearly hour-long gameplay trailer, we haven't seen much from CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077, so it's not surprising that many fans are anxious to see more from the forthcoming sci-fi RPG.

However, if you've been hoping to see the publisher release an open beta for Cyberpunk 2077, then you're out of luck, as the game's official Twitter account seemingly shoots down any chance that there will be a beta.

"We have no plans for closed/open beta," the tweet read. While this response merely says there are currently no plans for a beta, it seems highly unlikely that these plans will change. Plus, with the amount of buzz surrounding the game, a beta—or the lack of one—likely won't impact sales.

Cyberpunk 2077 is currently suspected to release for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, sometime this year, but an official release date for the title still hasn't been set.
