Just a little while ago, CD Projekt RED released the latest episode in the Night City Wire series, revealing a bunch of new details about Cyberpunk 2077 ahead of it's long-awaited release, and there were actually quite a bunch of interesting bits of information that keep making players excited for the launch.

The good news is that this Night City Wire episode revealed that no changes have been made to the game's release date, so players should expect the game — for real, this time — to launch worldwide on Thursday the 10th of December; great news, actually ,as it means that it won't be delayed again.

As a matter of fact, Cyberpunk 2077 was supposed to have released today, but the developers decided that it was best to push the game back a mere three weeks in order to polish some details; while the delay is slightly disappointing, it is in the players' best interest to get a top quality product.

One of the most interesting bits of today's Night City Wire presentation was a behind the scenes that revealed details about JALI, which is a facial performance software that generates facial expressions based on audio recorded by the actors, and that gives characters an even more realistic look when they interact with the player.

Even more fascinating is that the JALI software has been used for every single one of the characters in the game, not just the main characters that players will be interacting with as part of the story, and is one of the many features that make Cyberpunk 2077 such an ambitious project.

CD Projekt RED also shared a behind the scenes video that focuses solely on the score and soundtrack for Cybeprunk 2077, revealing that the team has given the game's soundtrack a '90s flare instead of giving it sounds from the '80s, but what's even more fascinating is that depending on where the players is in the game's city, the music, sound, and overall feel can be very different.
