Last month, the official Electronic Entertainment Expo website confirmed that the creators of
The Witcher trilogy and
GWENT: The Witcher Card Game will attend E3 2018 showcasing a "
Role-Playing" product. Despite many terrible rumors about the troubled production of
Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt Red seems to be finally ready to talk about their upcoming project that was teased in 2013.
According to Everyeye.it editor Francesco Fossetti, he will be attending an hour-long presentation hosted by CD Project Red at E3 2018 and it wouldn't be anything new for the Polish developer, as
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was announced in the similar way. CD Projekt CEO Adam Kiciński said in April that
Cyberpunk 2077 is a "
great game, more ambitious than Witcher 3, and we believe that we can aim [at] more ambitious business goals as well—of course, still having gamer-centric focus and quality focus as a main priority."
Rumor has it that
Cyberpunk 2077 is a first-person shooter filled with RPG gameplay mechanics and themes you've seen (and presumably loved) in the
Prey and
Deus Ex series, and apparently CDP Red Kraków is working on a chapter of the game that will let us visit the Moon. Until the game's official presentation in June, remember to take these revelations with a healthy grain of salt.
