There's no denying that
Cyberpunk 2077 will be one of the biggest global entertainment launches of the decade, as this new CD Projekt Red game is arguably as intriguing as
Red Dead Redemption 2. As a reminder, the Warsaw-based studio is responsible for the
Witcher trilogy, including two of the best-reviewed RPG games of all-time:
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
To celebrate CBP Red's past and future achievements, Sony has released four extended videos, each spotlighting a different game made but the renowned Polish team, starting with their origins and 2007's
The Witcher, later moving onto its acclaimed and best-selling sequels, two spin-offs (
GWENT: The Witcher Card Game and
Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales), concluding with
Cyberpunk 2077.
While
Cyberpunk 2077's release date hasn't been announced just yet, we know that CDP Red will showcase their upcoming video game at this year's E3, so there's a chance it will be finally revealed relatively soon. E3 2019 will be held June 11-13 in Los Angeles at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
