According to THQ Nordic, the owner of the rights to the
Darksiders video game series,
Darksiders III is a game to the fans of the franchise that will definitely entertain those that enjoyed the previous slasher titles. The production launched over two weeks ago and the publisher still hasn't released any official sales numbers, seemingly confirming that Gunfire Games' title is struggling to find its audience.
Considering that
Darksiders III has to sell only 100,000 copies during its launch period to please the publisher, there's still hope that we will get to play as the gunslinger Strife in the not too distant future.
THQ Nordic has shared an accolades trailer for
Darksiders III featuring some of the best reviews from the press the slasher title has received so far. The PlayStation 4 version of
Darksiders III has gotten the most reviews (52, to be exact) of all the game's ports and it’s currently sitting on a rather mediocre 64 score on Metacritic. Thankfully, Gunfire Games has been fixing the game lately with new hotfixes and patches, so
Darksiders III is definitely in much more stable now than it was at launch. Take a look:
Return to an apocalyptic Earth in Darksiders III, a hack-n-slash Action Adventure where players assume the role of FURY in her quest to hunt down and dispose of the Seven Deadly Sins. The most unpredictable and enigmatic of the Four Horsemen, FURY must succeed where many have failed – to bring balance to the forces that now ravage Earth. Darksiders III is the long-anticipated, third chapter in the critically-acclaimed Darksiders franchise.
Darksiders III is available on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One NOW!
