BioWare's Dragon Age 4 (apparently subtitled The Dread Wolf Rises, but we're pretty sure it's just the upcoming RPG's advertising slogan) was officially announced last Thursday during The Game Awards 2018 with a short and enigmatic teaser trailer featuring a quick look at the titular elven villain, who's basically the god of mischief (like the mythological Loki or Eris) in the game's fictional universe.
According to Design Director for Dragon Age Daniel Kading, the game is being development by BioWare veterans, denying the rumor that the most skilled and experienced BioWare developers are currently focusing on finishing Anthem. Considering that Dragon Age 4 is designed by the creators of previous Dragon Age titles, it shouldn't be surprising that the RPG will tackle familiar themes.
"Dragon Age has always been about belonging - about realizing that family is more than blood and about celebrating our diversity and differences. It will remain so," Dragon Age 4 Narrative Director John Epler has recently revealed on his personal Twitter profile. In Epler's opinion, Dragon Age 4 will continue the stories and messages of the previous Dragon Age video games as "Dragon Age has always been about belonging - about realizing that family is more than blood." Take a look:
BioWare's Dragon Age 4 doesn't have a set release date yet.
