During an “Active Time Report” stream broadcast last month, Square Enix revealed that players would soon be able to switch between all members of the party during Final Fantasy XV's main story campaign. At the game's launch, players were only able to play as Noctis.  This new ability doesn't have a confirmed release date but is expected to drop around the same time that Episode Ignis is released on December 13.

Speaking of Episode Ignis, below you can see a new trailer for the story-DLC, which focuses on how gamers will play as Ignis and his repertoire of special moves.

Final Fantasy 15 is available now for PS 4, Xbox One and will be released on PC in early 2018.  As of September 17, 2017 the game has sold 6.5 milion units worldwide.  Square previously revealed that the game needed to seel 5 million units in order to break even.

Ignis is all business! Watch this video to get a sneak peek at some of his unique abilities in Final Fantasy XV Episode Ignis (out on 13th December 2017).
