If you've been waiting for Square Enix to release a format that allows for the purchase of Final Fantasy XV and all of its DLC in one go, you've just got your wish granted.  On March 6, Square will be releasing the Royal Edition which includes:
  • All season pass content – Episode Gladiolus, Episode Prompto, Multiplayer Expansion: Comrades, and Episode Ignis.
  • Royal Vessel – the boat from FFXV is now a controllable vehicle. The same body of water (between Cape Caem and Altissia) can now be freely explored.
  • Armiger Unleashed – after you collect all 13 royal arms, a more action-oriented mode of the Armiger is unlocked
  • New features such as first person mode, new gear, and new bosses.
  • An all-new dungeon - Insomnia City Ruins: Expanded Map
There's already a ton of debate online about the fact that gamers who purchased the Season Pass for Final Fantasy XV will not receive any of the above-mentioned extras and will have to pay an additional fee, just like everyone else who already owns the game.

It was initially reported that the Royal Edition would be an additional $19.99 USD for those who already own FF XV, however, Square has since stated that they've yet to set a price for it.  Stay tuned for additional details.
