Cyanide Studio and Focus Home Entertainment have released new screenshots for the upcoming Game of Thrones RPG video game. The new screenshots give us our first look at King's Landing.
King's Landing is home to the Iron Throne, and the chief port in the Seven Kingdomes, this crowded city serves as the capital of Westers. Seven gates, in homage to the Seven gods, offer passage into this dense, walled city built by Aegon the Conquerer, although other Targaryen kings have added to it.
With the fate of Riverspring left in tumult, Alester has traveled to King's Landing to beseech Cersei to intercede on his behalf, not only in her capacity as queen, but also as one of the heads of House Lannister, the liege lords of House Sarwyck.
King's Landing and the royal court are not quite the same as they were before Alester went into exile all those many years ago, and it appears as if it will take more than a sample request to sway Robert Baratheon's queen.

The Game of Thrones RPG game distributor, Koch Media, has revealed that the game will be released in early June 2012 in the UK and Ireland. Whether or not this June release date will affect the North American release dates, which was originally slated for May 2012, is unkown.
