Kingdom Hearts 3 is the next installment in the Kingdom Hearts RPG franchise which launched with the original Kingdom Hearts back in 2002, combining new heroes with favorite characters from Square Enix and beloved Disney properties. The third chapter of this fan-favorite series was announced at E3 nearly five years ago, and it looks like Square Enix's latest game is finally ready to be shown publicly.
According to the latest Square Enix financial report, the company is expecting "FY2019/3 earnings to benefit from the launches of major titles including Shadow Of The Tomb Raider and Kingdom Hearts 3." Considering that Shadow will officially launch on September 14, 2018, there's a big chance that Kingdom Hearts 3 will finally hit the stores this winter or maybe even a little bit sooner!
Remember that it's just a speculation based on Square’s predictions, but one thing is certain, as Square is planning "to announce the details of our forthcoming lineup at E3 in June," specifically mentioning that they will announce the release date of Kingdom Hearts III at E3 next week. Be prepared, as the first Square E3 conference in years will air on Monday, June 11 at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET.
