MASS EFFECT: ANDROMEDA's Launch Trailer Reveals More Of The Game's Plot

We're only 10 days out from the launch of Mass Effect: Andromeda so if you don't want to know any more plot details, don't watch this trailer- that is, if you have the will-power to resist...

It seems none of the "Golden Worlds" you're traveling to in the Andromeda galaxy cluster  will be able to sustain human life. With most of your ship's inhabitants in crystasis pods, its up to you, the Pathfinder to find a planet that can sustain life or at the very least, resources that can keep your ship afloat.

Complicating matters further are The Scourge who are rumored to be looking for a planet to call home as well, leading to the conflict as it appears they're unwilling to share a planet.

Also, if you're confused as to why the launch trailer is premiering so early, remember EA Access subscribers will get access to the game's first 10-hrs on the 15th, a full week before anyone else.

 ABOUT MASS EFFECT: ANDROMEDA
Mass Effect: Andromeda is the fourth installment in the Mass Effect franchise and is chronologically set 600 years after the events of the original Mass Effect trilogy, though the story is heavily influenced by the events of Mass Effect 2.

With Commander Shepard's discovery of the Reapers and the threat of galactic extinction, humanity and a core group of various Alliance species launched a space ship into the farthest reaches of space in order to escape the clutches of the synthetic annihilation machines. Gamers will play as either Sara or Scott Ryder, the children of N7 operative, Alec Ryder, who was given the special title Pathfinder by the Alliance.

Bioware first leaked Andromeda in November 2012 on twitter by a Bioware exec before being formally confirmed by the developer at E3 2014.  It will be released on March 21, 2017.

Instead of a straight narrative, Andromeda will mark the first time in the series that an open-world setting has been released.

As with the last installment, a multiplayer component will also play a key role in how the story unfolds.
