Paradox Interactive announced
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 last month, confirming that the long-awaited sequel to one of most acclaimed role-playing games would be coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC at some point between January and March 2020. While we know next to nothing about that highly anticipated title, it's been revealed that the game is being developed at Hardsuit Labs.
According to the creators of
Blacklight: Retribution,
Bloodlines 2's average length will be comparable to the original's. Asked about that aspect on Twitter by a fan, Hardsuit answered that it "
depends on your play style, but we think the average time will be around 25-30 hours for one playthrough."
A quick look at the reliable
How Long to Beat website reveals that the average player would need 28 and a half hours to beat the original game's main story campaign and some side activities. Just like its predecessor,
Bloodlines 2 will also feature plenty of things to do outside the main missions and quests, as Hardsuit has "
other interesting things in the world worth exploring, and of course we are encouraging multiple playthrough a because of the branching narrative just like the first."
Given that E3 2019 starts in June, more details on
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 should be shared at the expo. In the meantime, check out the game's action-packed reveal trailer down below:
