Sqaure Enix Has Just Launched A Worldwide Player Survey

Square Enix, the Japanese video game developer and publisher behind Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts and Dragon Quest wants to hear from its fans to "help shape the future of Square Enix."

Between now and July 8 11:59 AM PST, you can help shape the future of Square Enix and have a chance at winning $500. Though the odds aren't that great as only 14 participants in the survey will receive $500 and there will be tens of thousands that enter.

Still, it's interesting to see what kind of questions will be asked- gamers will definitely attempt to read the tea leaves and determine what Square Enix is up to based on the contents of the survey.  Are they entering the freemium market, developing a battle royale or making a serious "games as a service" installment (FF XV is arguably a GaaS title but it wasn't designed that way).

The survey is estimated to take about 20  minutes to complete so be sure to carve out some free time.
