Players who have completed the narrative of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order have already likely formed an opinion on whether they think Cal Kestis' story can continue, but even without playing the game, the fact that it became EA's fastest-selling digital launch for a Star Wars game ever has many assuming a sequel is already being mapped out. Nevertheless, we had yet to hear any official word on the matter.

Thankfully, during a recent conversation with GamesRadar+, Respawn's Brand Strategy Director Charlie Houser discussed the overall development process and whether the developers would be open to making a sequel.

"Yes," Houser said, definitively expressing interest in a follow-up game. "We've had an absolute blast [making Fallen Order]. For a new team thats come together at Respawn, its been a lot of learning to pull this off. Pending player reaction and feedback, and how everyone's feeling about it, we would love to continue making awesome experiences and stories and keep telling that story in Star Wars."

Although Houser's comments suggests the executive at EA are still looking at the numbers for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order before making any hard decisions, it's hard to imagine a reason a sequel wouldn't get the greenlight, especially after the first received praise from fans and critics alike.

Starring Cameron Monaghan as Cal Kestis, Fallen Order is currently available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
