STRANGE BRIGADE Unites In This Intense Dev Playthrough

Strange Brigade will allow you to kill mummified zombies, ancient creatures, and things you've probably seen in The Mummy series and you can see all of it (and more!) in Rebellion's E3 2018 playthrough...

Rebellion, the studio responsible for the Sniper Elite, Aliens vs Predator series, and Rogue Warrior is preparing to release their brand new IP. To make a long story short, Strange Brigade is a single to four-player, third-person shooter which has you and your team facing supernatural terrors in 20th century Africa, including mummified zombies, ancient creatures, and the villainous Witch Queen Seteki.

During E3 2018, Lead Designers Steve Bristow and Ben Fisher tackled with an extended section from Strange Brigade’s Hidden Valley level. When the four brave heroes don't kill Egyptian beasts, they use special amulets that are being charged with the souls of their victims. The demo also showcases environmental traps, puzzles, and each character's unique and pretty effective weapons and abilities.

You can recruit up to three of your friends and nothing stops you from abandoning the "silent assassin" path and just play it like a straight co-op shooter. By charging the amulets, you can use it to unleash some powerful magical attacks. It’s also possible to find map specific collectibles or treasure chests with prototype weapons, all of which encourage you to replay a map to find everything. Take a look:

Egypt, 1930's. Erased from ancient history and buried in a nameless tomb for 4,000 years, Seteki the Witch Queen has risen once again. Only one troop of daring heroes can stand against the fearsome power of Seteki and her army of mummified monstrosities: The Strange Brigade! Explore remarkable ruins, solve perilous puzzles and uncover tantalising treasure while blasting your way through an array of undead enemies in thrilling third-person action that’s certain to bring out your inner adventurer!

Strange Brigade will be available on August 28, 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
