Suda51 is a fan of independent games and the proposals they present. In fact, the legendary Japanese creative has had the opportunity to play Pato Box and considers it the best independent game of 2018.
In a recent interview with Destructoid, Suda51 talked about Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes and other topics. There they asked him what his favorite independent project of the year was and his response was Pato Box, the Mexican indie that tells us the story of a duck that boxes. That said, he did not explain why he puts it at the top of his list.
This is not the first time that Suda51 talks about Pato Box. In fact, he dedicated a few words to it in his column of independent games for Dengeki magazine. In it he described Pato Box as a "really wonderful" game that presents different strategies in each scenario. He also noted that it is an original game that is "done properly."
The game is already available on PlayStation 4 and its PlayStation Vita version will arrive later this month. The project has received an update that added an Arcade mode.
And you, have you tried Pato Box? What did you think of the Mexican indie? Tell us in the comments.
Pato Box is available for PC, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
