Team Meat recently confirmed that it was preparing something new related to Super Meat Boy. Details about the project were revealed today in the framework of PAX West 2018. Thanks to this, we know that Super Meat Boy: Rival Rush is not a video game.
The team of developers presented their card game based on the popular independent title. The board game has a great variety of cards with the characters of this universe, including foil versions.
Dr. Fetus, Bandage Girl and Meat Boy will be accompanied by new characters, who will debut in the card game and possibly later appear in video games.
Team Meat will teach the rules of the game to PAX West 2018 attendees on September 3. The game decks are already on sale for $10 USD.
"Each pack of 36 cards contains a balanced deck of 20 cards, 4 level cards, 1 character card, 9 extra cards to customize your deck, a set of game rules and a special Super Meat Boy Forever card. Some packages include foil cards!" the company stated.
