Theft of accounts in popular games is a big problem. Ubisoft, wants this to stop happening with their titles and want their users to feel calm. That is why it implemented a 2-step verification system for Rainbow Six Siege. The best part is that those who activate it will be rewarded.
According to Ubisoft, all players that activate 2-step verification in their Rainbow Six Siege account will receive a skin for their Operator. That's not all, since they will also have the peace of mind that their account will hardly be stolen by a hacker.
Now, what should be done to activate the 2-step verification? According to Ubisoft, the first thing is to enter the configuration of your Ubisoft account and select the option "Activate 2-step verification".
Then you will receive an email with the instructions that you must follow to activate it. Keep in mind that this verification is done through Google Authenticator, so you should have your mobile device at hand.
It is important to note that in the future this type of verification will be mandatory for all competitive Rainbow Six Siege players. What we are referring to is that they will not be able to participate in classified games unless they have it activated.
