Outbreak was a limited time event in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege that officially kicked off the Operation Chimera/Year 3. The event took place in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, with Six fighting a zombie virus that somehow managed to survive crash-landing in a mysterious space capsule, and what do you know, players all around the world worked together to save the world (again).

The event began on March 6 and lasted for one month, until April 3. With Outbreak ending yesterday, Ubisoft wants to thank you all for your participation in fighting evil viruses and saving the human race.

Thanks to the event, the players can use two new operators, Lion and Finka in all of the Rainbow Six Siege modes. Two new infographics shows that the gamers fell in love with Finka as more than 1/5 of users used her to kill the zombies, and only last month, the Siege owners killed more than 4 billion hostiles! Outbreak has ended but Operation Chimera is still going, so expect new events soon!
