Iron Harvest is a real-time strategy game set in an alternate version of Europe with huge steampunk mechs fighting next to the regular infantry. KING Art Games' title takes place in the world of 1920+, where mankind, fascinated by technology, engines and iron, invented powerful walking machines. Once mighty weapons on the battlefields of the Great War, they are now part of everyday life.
In
Iron Harvest, you will fight as one of the three sides of this retro-futuristic conflict - The Saxony Empire, The Polania Republic, and finally Rusviet. The 1920+ universe was developed by Polish artist Jakub Różalski (he also worked on Jordan Vogt-Roberts'
Kong: Skull Island and
Metal Gear Solid) and earned him a cult-following thanks to his beautiful artwork painted in the style of the old masters.
KING Art Games' new title will feature not only a proper single-player campaign, but also a variety of multiplayer modes, including cult classic skirmish.
Iron Harvest will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC in 2019, and that's great news for console owners, as it's hard to find well-desgined multiplatform RTS games these days. Be sure to take a look at the latest gameplay trailer for
Iron Harvest below:
You lead hero characters, mechs, and soldiers into battle. Cover mechanics and dynamic destruction play a major role in combat. Your squads take cover automatically, but a simple brick wall will only offer protection against small calibers, not against mech-mounted cannons. Throughout its open sandbox levels you have to find your own way to reach the goals set by the dynamic story line.
Iron Harvest is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (GOG) in 2019.
