A number of players will be able to enjoy the beta - or B.E.T.A (Break it Early Test Application) as its officially titled - for Fallout 76 when it launches this October, but a few details on the test had been under wraps.
Fortunately, Bethesda recently updated the FAQs page for the title, and it sheds some more light on the upcoming B.E.T.A., revealing whether it will be the whole game and more.
"Our current plan for the B.E.T.A. is it will be the full game," the newest entry reads. However, that may not be the biggest new detail as the page also says, "your progress is saved for launch."
Though it's not unheard of for beta players to receive some kind of bonus for their time, it's not too common for a player's progress to carry over into launch. Likewise, beta players typically only have access to a portion of the final product, not the full game.
