Iron Galaxy studio is working on a game which gives the players a chance to fight with huge, enormous ogres. The production received a new trailer that gives us a better look at the game's most important features, but interestingly enough, the trailer starts with an information that
Extinction "does not include micro-transactions". It's a weird way to start your trailer, but at least the publisher is honest.
The fighting system is quite advanced and gives you many options and opportunities to get rid off the angry ogres. The system also focuses on fighting in the air, special abilities (like punching smaller enemies into the ground with one strike) and the control system that's really similar to
Shadow of the Colossus.
Extinction looks pretty nice and cell-shading is always welcomed. Check it out:
From time immemorial, the world has been at war. For generations, humans have fought one another for land and riches while our true enemies have lurked in the distance: throngs of ravenous monsters standing 150 feet tall that aim to destroy our kind. Only those trained in the ways of the ancient order stand a chance at defeating these monstrosities, known colloquially as "ogres." You are one of the world’s last defenders, a warrior named Avil equipped with the skill, speed and strength to oppose the endless wave of Ravenii and prevent a fate worse than death: Extinction.
Extinction releases on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC on April 10, 2018.
