The fans of Undertale and the work of Toby Fox are celebrating, as the popular independent RPG celebrates its 3rd anniversary today. The game originally debuted on this day back in 2015. Since then, the fame of the title has not stopped growing.
The developer took advantage of the date to post a special message from his Twitter account. Fox commented that there are still people who enjoy the RPG and its music, so he is surprised.
In addition, the creative hopes that the Nintendo Switch version will help more people play the title for the first time. In fact, he recently shared a new trailer for that version, which you can see below.
"Today marks 3 years since Undertale came out. Even now, there are still people playing the game and its music ... and soon, the Nintendo Switch version, even more people will play it for the first time. I'm amazed such a small RPG could have a lifespan like this. Thank you," Fox wrote.
To celebrate Undertale's anniversary, all interested parties can obtain it at a special discount for a limited time. In Steam, the RPG has a 50% discount, so you can get it for only $4.99.
The edition that includes its sountrack is also available. You will not have to pay $17.99 for it, because it is at half price. You can get it for $8.99. Both promotions will conclude on September 18th.
Undertale is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and PC. Its version for Nintendo Switch will be released on September 18.
