Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint's long overdue immersive mode will finally arrive on March 24, Ubisoft announced this week. The mode will launch as part of the "Ghost Experience," which allows players to choose from two present options or build your own combination of settings when playing
Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
Immersive mode drops gear level and tiered loot entirely in favor of a more tactical and authentic spec ops feeling that fans typically desire from the
Ghost Recon series. WIth gear level disabled, each weapon model is unique and can be tuned iwth compatible attachments. Players can scavenge weapons from fallen enemies who will drop guns wtihin their category that they were using.
The Immersive Experience can be played on any difficulty but defaults to Veteran Tactical Difficulty. On this setting, players will have a much mor realistic experience as it pertains to weapon slots, bandage quantity, and risk of injury. Ubisoft also confirmed that Immersive mode will not have permadeath as previously rumored.
"Ghost Experience" also introduces a Custom Experience in which players can select their preferred settings to create their ideal challenge. Settings that can be adjusted include gear level, realistic looting, stamina level, health regen, private mode, and more. Settings can be adjusted at any time during the game so players can experiment with different options.
For those who prefer to play
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint the way it was released, the Regular Experience will still be an option with gear scored and tiered loot. The default will be Confirmed Tactical Difficulty. In both Immersive and Regular Experiences, the default enemy difficulty is Normal.
