With
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint launching next month, Ubisoft is giving fans a chance to check out the upcoming tactical shooter.
An open beta has been announced and will run from September 26-30 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. As an open beta, it will be available for everyone, with no special requirements for an invite.
Ubisoft also kicked off its marketing campaign for
Ghost Recon Breakpoint, releasing a new live-action trailer starring Grammy Award-winning artist Lil Wayne. Directed by David Leitch (
Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, Deadpool 2) and produced by Minted Content in Los Angeles, the trailer is a humorous depction of the co-op strategy gameplay for
Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
“More than anything, the key point of all action is to tell a story, and in this spot we’re telling a story with these characters in the world of the game and also the characters in their worlds at home,” said David Leitch.
“We wanted to make sure we have these distinct characters that jump off the page and that the action defines them in a real, particular way. We have this fun juxtaposition with the different characters and their voices, too, which is a great conceit.”
Squad up with Lil Wayne and cause an uproar in 4-player co-op, or try a different tactic with stealth and precision.
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint launches on October 4 for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Uplay+ (Ubisoft's subscription service). It will also be available on Google's streaming platform, Stadia.
