Watch The PlayStation Underground Crew Play Through MEGA MAN X LEGACY COLLECTION 1 & 2

Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2 is a game that compiles all 8 titles in the Mega Man X series, with Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 featuring games X1 through X4, and Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 featuring the other 4 remaining titles.

Much like the original Mega Man games, Mega Man X features a blue robot named Mega Man who has to fight 8 evil robots and save the world—or at least that's the case put in simpler words given that the X series actually takes some time to flesh out the characters, and their motivations. The X series actually improved on the classic series by, not only improving the game's mechanics, adding a proper story that developes throughout the course of the 8 titles.

The Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2 game will let players get immersed in this world and join the Reploids like X and Zero fight against the evil Mavericks in order to save humanity. Not only that but the games also include the series' prologue, which comes in the form of a 25-minute animated movie titled The Day of Sigma—released, up until now, only for the PSP in Mega Man X Maverick Hunter.

Today, the PlayStation Underground crew are playing through the Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 & 2 demo, showing off the first stage in Mega Man X, going over the menus, some of the extras, show the game's different filters, fight against two Maverick bosses in X Challenge, and simply having fun with the games.
