Capcom just announced on Twitter that they will port once again three critically acclaimed
Resident Evil games next year. The company has revealed that Nintendo Switch owners can expect to play
Resident Evil, Resident Evil 0, and
Resident Evil 4 in 2019. You shouldn't expect to buy one bundle as Capcom is planning to release each title separately. Unfortunately, further details were not announced.
Considering that those games were re-released for different console systems in the last couple of years, it will be interesting which ones Capcom will chose for Switch. When it comes to the groundbreaking and still fresh
Resident Evil 4, we're most definitely talking about
Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD Edition that launched for PC on February 27, 2014 and was ported on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2016.
As for the original
Resident Evil and classic
Resident Evil 0, Capcom launched a special box-set for PC in January 2016 simply titled
Resident Evil Origins Collection that included both 2015's
Resident Evil HD-remaster and 2016's
Resident Evil 0 HD-remaster, originally created for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, so there's a big chance Capcom will just bring the aforementioned collection to Nintendo Switch.
Resident Evil 0 is a HD remaster of the classic survival horror title, featuring remastered visuals and sounds, options for new and classic controls, and the all new bonus Wesker mode for beating the game. Available now for download on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3! Also be sure to check out Resident Evil Origins Collection, a physical bundle of the remasters of Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil, for PlayStation 4!
Resident Evil Origins Collection was released for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 in 2016.
