MARIO BROS. Will Have A Cooperative Online Mode Thanks To The Nintendo Switch

The classic video game, Mario Bros., will let players play with their friends in this new cooperative online mode. Nintendo of Europe went to Twitter and talked more about it.

Nintendo Switch Online, Nintendo's online subscription service for Nintendo Switch, will arrive later this month. Nintendo has confirmed that the subscription will have NES games, authentic classics that can now be enjoyed in the hybrid. Now, through Twitter, it has been confirmed that the original Mario Bros. can be played cooperatively online for the first time.

"For the first time in its history, when Nintendo Switch Online is released this month, you and a friend can play cooperatively online as Mario and Luigi in the original Mario Bros.," they explained.

We remind you that the classic games service integrated in Nintendo Switch Online will come with 20 games, which will have voice chat support. They are confirmed Soccer, Tennis, Donkey Kong, Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros., Balloon Fight, Ice Climber, Dr. Mario, The Legend of Zelda, and Super Mario Bros. 3.


Nintendo Switch Online will become a paid subscription from the second half of September 2018. The price of one month (30 days) will be €3.99; the 3 months (90 days) of € 7.99, and the 12 months (365 days) of € 19.99, and a family subscription of 12 months (365 days) for €34.99, which can be shared with eight Nintendo accounts.
