Next week's release of
Fire Emblem: Three Houses will mark the 15th installment in Intelligent Systems'
Fire Emblem franchise which kicked off back in 1990 with
Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light on the Famicom.
More recent installments have been for Nintendo's various handheld consolde, making Three Houses a rare home console release and the first since 2007's Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. The setting takes place in a world where three rival nations enjoy a tenuous peace, with students from each nation training at the Garegg Mach monastery, which borders all three nations. Gamers must choose a nation (or house) to support in this tactical role-playing game that features perma-death, time-skips, social simulation and time management elements.
Go for a trip round Garreg Mach Monastery and get a glimpse of a typical day in the life of a professor in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, coming July 26th on Nintendo Switch!
