Commemorating their 40th anniversary, SNK has decided to release a few things for their fans to celebrate with them. A new NEO GEO Mini was revealed back in May and we finally got a proper trailer that showed offf everything the mini arcade console had to offer.
Similarly, SNK and NIS(Nippon Ichi Software) are currently working on the
SNK 40th Anniversary Collection title that is coming exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. The game will include some classic SNK titles that were released for both arcades and home consoles. So far, SNK has only revealed 13 of these games but they promised there are still more to come.
Among the games that can be found in this collection, so far, we have
Alpha Mission,
Athena,
Crystalis,
Ikari Warriors,
Victory Road,
Ikari III - The Rescue,
P.O.W,
Prehistoric Isle,
Street Smart,
TNK III, and
Vanguard. A couple of weeks ago, SNK released a
trailer that focused on their classic action RPG Crystali, and this week is
Ikari Warriors' turn.
Today, NIS America has released a brand new trailer for
SNK 40th Anniversary Collection that focuses on the
Ikari Warriors trilogy, which include the original
Ikari Warriors(1986),
Victory Road(1986), and
Ikari III - The Rescue(1989)—all of which featuring both arcade and home console versions.
