Super Mario Party is the latest entry in Nintendo's Mario Party series, which released on the 5th of October for the Nintendo Switch, bringing back the classic party title known for its incredibly fun minigames, as well as all the friendships its destroyed over the years.

A bit over a week after the game's release, Media Create revealed that Super Mario Party sales had also managed to outperform the sales of Mario Party 10, which is the previous entry in the series released for the Nintendo Wii U, with an estimate of 150 thousand units sold within its first week since its launch.

Nintendo manages keeps that sales momentum going as they just announced that Super Mario Party has sold over 1 million copies, in the United States ,since its release earlier in October—as well as thanking players for their unconditional support. Nintendo also reveals that Super Mario Party is now the fastest-selling title in the Mario Party series, which has been around for 20 years this year..

Sales for Super Mario Party are even more likely to go up as we approach the holidays, and Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu/Eevee! plus Super Smash Bros. Ultimate are even more likely to help Nintendo keep that sales momentum going strong.

The Mario Party™ series is coming to the Nintendo Switch™ system with super-charged fun for everyone! The original board game style has been kicked up a notch with deeper strategic elements, like specific Dice Blocks for each character.

Super Mario Party is currently available for the Nintendo Switch.
