As of late, Nintendo has been doing pretty well when it comes to selling software and hardware.
Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu! and
Pokémon Let's Go, Eevee! managed to sell an impressive 3 million units within its first week after launch, becoming the best-selling title, in its first week, on the Nintendo Switch.
Black Friday was also very kind to
Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu/Eevee!,
which saw the new entry in the iconic monster-capturing series becoming the 4th best-selling item, losing out to other products like laptops, L.O.L Surprise, and Fingerlings toys.
Nintendo's other heavy-hitting title,
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, is also exceeding all expectations as the Japanese company confirmed that it is the
best pre-selling title in the Super Smash Bros. series, as well as the best pre-selling title on the Nintendo Switch.
Small Business Saturday also saw Nintendo making the Top 5 of most sought-after items, as the Nintendo Switch was the fourth best-selling console during that shopping holiday. And now we have new information that keeps the round of good news going for Nintendo as the Nintendo Switch has also become the best-selling video game console during this past Cyber Monday.
Once again, the Nintendo Switch lost out to Fingerlings and L.O.L Surprise, but beating out laptops Dell and Apple, as well as LG television sets; sitting comfortably at the third spot in the Top 5 of best-selling items during Cyber Monday. This momentum Nintendo has had since the release of
Pokémon Let's Go, Pikachu! and
Pokémon Let's Go, Eevee! is very likely to continue as
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate releases next week; which will definitely boost software and hardware sales for The Big N.
