TRINE: ENCHANTED EDITION Debuts On Nintendo Switch As The Rest Of The Trilogy Is Coming Soon

European Commission's subvention listing spoiled that Frozenbyte is developing a new Trine game in October. We didn't have to wait for the studio's official confirmation too long, as the Finish developer announced Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince two weeks ago. The fourth entry in the acclaimed Trine series will be released at some point in 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

Frozenbyte has announced that Trine Enchanted Edition, the origin story for the three unlikely heroes of Trine - Amadeus the Wizard, Pontius the Knight, and Zoya the Thief is heading to Switch and it's actually available on the console right now. Two other games in the Trine saga, Trine 2: Complete Story and Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power will be also playable on Switch, as they are "coming soon."

Trine Enchanted Edition is a remake of the original Trine with dazzling new visual effects and numerous gameplay improvements. The game gives you a chance to control three heroes (each with unique abilities), who make their way through dangers untold in a fairytale world of great castles and strange machinery, featuring physics-based puzzles, beautiful sights and online co-op for up to three players.
